This documentation offers straightforward support and fixes for Exodus RDR2.

Common Issues

Bad Client HWID

You need to reset Device Lock, please refer to the account page.

Invalid field(s)

This error is caused by incorrect credentials, please check the setup page.

Failed to Fetch User Data

1. Restart RDR2.

2. Re-inject.

Bad Client Signature

This error happens when you're injecting someone else's Exodus DLL. Download your Exodus DLL from your Exodus library.

Local Ownership Failed

This error is caused by signing in to an account which doesn't own a license, please check the setup page and edit your Credentials.json file.

Failed to find 08F1509C

Delete dinput8.dll from your RDR2 Game Directory.

Missing permissions

Your Exodus account has probably been banned. Please join their Discord server to appeal.

Request Error

Request Error happens when Exodus fails to connect to the Exodus server. Although there is currently no 100% solution to this error, you can try using a VPN that has fixed it for some people. You can use Cloudflare's free 1.1.1.1 with WARP.

Process Crashed Server Error

The Exodus server is down, all you can do is wait.

Missing Required Data

If you are using a VPN, switch to a different VPN server or switch to a different VPN entirely. You can use Cloudflare's free 1.1.1.1 with WARP. If you don't use a VPN or the above method didn't work, try restarting RDR2/your system.

Malformed Response

This Error occurs when the hosting provider for Exodus has outages or problems. There's nothing we or you can do about it.

Failed to Select GPU

Simply change your (in-game) Graphics API (from DirectX 12 to Vulkan or vice versa).
